Pink Reeboks

This is dedicated to some of my mates.

You know what I think? All of you people

On the other side of the cardboard wall..

I think the one and a half years we had is like

is like

ciplak super glue

you know the one that costs 3.50 at yawata.

But don't worry I'll try to fix this shoe.

I'm trying to find real glue here

the one that costs more than 3.50

but I can't do it by myself man

You've gotta help too.

This is my favourite pair of Reeboks man

But only the strong parts will remain

glued together

with us

on the other side of the cardboard wall.

The rest will fall apart

and we won't miss you. . . .

But I wont get to feel my Reeboks again

To walk everywhere in them

With them..

Instead I’ll get a brand new pair of slipar jamban

And we’ll get along fine

But you know what

It’ll never be the same

Because a girl always remembers her first pair of Reeboks

The Rejected

Okay here’s the absolute, plain and simple truth. I am LOVING the fact that IPDA are excusing us from all of their activities. Of course the word they might choose is “EXCLUDING” instead of “excusing”...but...whatever..

And it all started when UPSI invited us over to their campus for orientation. When IPDA heard about it, they were furious (hyperbole). We were called big headed and “tunjuk perangai” behind our backs which creates the impression that we’re arrogant little punks, which we ARE NOT of course, in fact as people, we get along with students from other courses just fine.

Today we had our GRP (Gotong royong Perdana..lol). It’s an annual affair that my course mates and I have gotten used to. We had it in 2009, we had it in 2010. . I must say, we came all semangat in our PJ attire, however this year since IPDA has rejected its one litter of puppies (the B.ED TESL) group, we didn’t get a plot to clean. Oh well, more free time for us.

We are also not invited to join in the Annual Sports Day. Okay this one, I’m a bit bummed out about because, I actually enjoy sports day. =S oh well.

DO NOT have to go for the all important BIG camp (Bina Insane Insan Guru) haha, which is just a lot of paperwork, camping on campus and talks...

Who knows what else we’ll have to miss out on.

Ooh and here’s the other thing, since we’re marked as UPSI students, we follow UPSI’s academic calendar. That means, we get a four month break starting in May but until then classes as usual.

The rest of college get off in March for a week...jealous much?? NOT at all actually.

Why???

NO. 1 its just one week.

No.2 what are the chances of getting ANY studying/ revision done then? (nothing in my case)

No.3  I hate buying bus tickets and the whole travelling process.

Don’t get me wrong, I love going back home, but we really do have a lot of work to get done, especially group work type of things.

N0.4  The library will be open here.

so its okay, you go on home. We'll be just fine here.

Monday blues

Right. Well time for a new post. I'd like to think that YOU, reader, are dying to know what I have been up to these holidays, and yes I'll oblige from A to Z...

*rethinking this*

I'll give you the standard answer. It went well. Smiles.

The best part of the holidays is staying up late, and waking up because my dads calling us down for nasi lemak and coffee for breakfast and yes, the house is alive!

Well that brief week is gone and I have arrived in Jitra...woke up today morning staring into my laptop screen at my own reflection...then I had a mentos.
Hows that for contrast?

My friend said he didn't take any books back for the hols because he knew he wouldn't touch them.
I lugged back all my files AND a linguistics text, and managed to do NOTHING as well.

Sometimes its best to keep your posts short.

Tomorrows going to be a long day. =D

Toodles! (I learnt this from Doreen Tay Poh Chin!)

Reporting Live!

If you have been neglecting reading the papers and have sinfully come here instead =P, thank you but I might as well do my civic duty take it upon myself to update you on the current affairs of the world.

this is lizamaria reporting from around the globe! BNN live!

Wait! hold that yawn. Some of this stuff is actually interesting! and I promise to keep it short.

Congratulations WORLD!!
The youngest boy to get AIDs through sex has been found! His parents must be so proud! Only thirteen years old and he's on the Yahoo front page.

Well before you hate the kid, let me just say, that he was lured into sex by money by a fifty year old man. Okay now you can think whatever you want.

From the article, I imagined, a boy walking on the street (maybe going to play futsal), and an old man with SEX written on his forehead jumps out from the bushes and waves a bag of cash. Its stupid, I know but I blame the article for that. I wonder where his parents were. O.o anyway, dumb kid.

Okay advertisement. Short commercial break. Don't go anywhere!

Our rapist, asked for a lighter sentence because he had "gout, high blood pressure, and heart problems" awwww poor thing! give the old rapist, psycho, lunatic, mental, basturddd man a chance...so from 80 years in prison, he only gets 20 years, and from 40 strokes of rotan, he only gets 10 strokes.
